Tollywood superstar Nagarjuna took to his social media to share the exciting news of his younger son Akhil Akkineni’s engagement.
After Naga Chaitanya announced his wedding with actress Sobhita Dhulipala, it was time for Nagarjuna’s younger son to share the news of his engagement to Zainab Ravdjee. Nagarjuna shared the news of their engagement yesterday.Nagarjuna expressed in a statement that the family is delighted to share this news with their well-wishers.The wedding dates are yet to be finalized and will possibly take place next year.
Nagarjuna took to his X and wrote, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Akhil Akkineni, to our daughter-in-law to be Zainab Ravdjee! After the post was shared, the couple received a flood of congratulatory messages. However, some netizens began trolling them due to their significant age difference and different faiths. In response, Akhil, who had posted the stunning engagement photos, eventually disabled the comments section.
Who is Zainab Ravdjee?
Zainab is an artist and art exhibitionist based in Mumbai, but born and brought up in Hyderabad. Her father, Zulfi Ravdjee, has strong connections to both the film industry and politics. He previously owned the iconic Odeon Theater in Hyderabad, which has since been transformed into a multiplex.
Zainab’s brother Zain Ravdjee serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd. Zainab is also a lifestyle blogger who specialises in skincare. She is also reportedly known for her work in Hyderabad exhibitions. The 39 year-old artist renowned for her abstract paintings, currently resides in Mumbai.
Not much is known about Zainab and Akhil’s relationship, but several reports indicate that they crossed paths a few years ago and soon began dating.
