Actor Janhvi Kapoor, currently in the spotlight for promoting her upcoming film “Ulajh,” recently shared insights into her first heartbreak. Amidst speculation about her romantic involvement with Shikhar Pahariya, Janhvi revealed in an interview that she has only experienced heartbreak once, but the same individual later returned to heal her broken heart.
“I have truly faced heartbreak just once in my life, but the same person came back and made everything better,” Janhvi mentioned to Hauterrfly.
She elaborated, “During a couple of years of my periods, I would break up with him every month. Initially, he was shocked, but after a few months, he got used to it and would just say, ‘Yes, okay.’ After a couple of days, I would apologize and return to him crying. I couldn’t understand why my mind was reacting this way. It was very intense.”
Recently, Janhvi and Shikhar were seen together at multiple events, including the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

On the professional front, Janhvi will soon be seen as Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, in “Ulajh.” The film revolves around her navigating a difficult mission at the London embassy under close watch. The trailer hints at an internal leak that jeopardizes the lives of undercover agents, throwing Suhana into a desperate struggle for survival. “Ulajh,” directed by Sudhanshu Saria, also stars Gulshan Devaiah as a mysterious undercover agent, along with Roshan Mathew. The film features an ensemble cast including Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi in significant roles. It is set to release on August 2.
