Kartik Aaryan confirms ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ release for Diwali

Excitement is mounting as the creators of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have revealed the film’s first poster and announced its release date. The eagerly awaited third installment of the horror-comedy series is scheduled to debut in theaters this Diwali, promising fans an exhilarating festive experience.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Release Date

Kartik Aaryan, who reprises his role as Rooh Baba, took to Instagram to share the thrilling update with fans. The poster teased audiences with a cryptic and eerie visual of a door smeared with blood stains, locked tight, creating an atmosphere of suspense and intrigue. The caption accompanying the post, “Darwaza Khulega Iss Diwali,” hints at the spooky adventure awaiting fans this Diwali.

While a specific date is yet to be disclosed, the film is most likely to hit theatres on the first weekend of November, and will thus be directly clashing with Rohit Shetty’s cop universe magnum opus, Singham Again.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” is the third entry in the popular franchise and is expected to be one of the major Bollywood releases of 2024. The film features a prominent cast including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. One of the most exciting elements of the film is a dance-off between Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, which has generated a lot of buzz.

The film also includes Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in important roles. Filming for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” began in March 2024, and the production wrapped up on August 2. Kartik Aaryan shared a celebratory post on social media, hinting at the film’s upcoming release and teasing fans with a glimpse of what’s to come.

Diwali Clash: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again

Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is not the only big Diwali release this year. Last week, it was confirmed that Singham Again, another major film, will also hit the screens during the festive season. This star-studded action film features Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. With both films set for a Diwali debut, fans can expect a massive box office clash.

As a matter of fact, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee, in a conversation with Mid-Day, cleared how though a clash is not the ideal scenario, he is incredibly confident with what they are creating. He said, “It’s a business decision between producers, and I am just the director. Singham Again’s team is insisting on a Diwali release. Clashes are never a good idea. I know that we had announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date a year in advance, but what can we do? I’ve always maintained that a good film doesn’t need a date to work. I’m the last person to get involved in box-office numbers and release dates. These are decisions and numbers calculated by producers and distributors”.
