On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, the makers of The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, starring Rishab Shetty, unveiled the film’s first poster, generating excitement among fans.
The creators of The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, featuring Kantara star Rishab Shetty, unveiled the film’s first look on the 395th birth anniversary of the great Maratha emperor. The poster, showcasing Rishab as the legendary warrior king, stirred excitement across the internet.

This ambitious historical epic, poised to be one of India’s grandest productions, marking a global tribute to the warrior king, ‘The Pride Of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.’
In an interview with Times of India, Rishab Shetty had called it an ‘honour’ to play the historical figure and he also said it gives him ‘immense pride’ to bring his story to the screen.
The film will feature music by Pritam and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, with Sandeep Singh directing the project. Cinematography will be handled by Ravi Varman, known for Ram Leela and Barfi, while Resul Pookutty (The Goat Life, Slumdog Millionaire) will serve as the Director of Sound & Acoustics.
Rishab Shetty’s Upcoming Movies
Apart from the iconic role in the ‘Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’, Rishab will also portray Hanuman in Prasanth Varma’s Jai Hanuman, the sequel to the hit superhero film HanuMan. Additionally, he is both directing and starring in the prequel to Kantara, titled Kantara: Chapter 1, which is set to release later this year.
