Salman Khan participated in an event in Mumbai on August 28, where he delighted fans by singing and dancing. The event was organised to promote an eco-friendly Ganesh festival in the city and was also attended by Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis.
During the event, Salman performed the song ‘Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hai’ from the movie ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’ and danced to ‘Jalwa’ from his film ‘Wanted’.
The superstar joined forces with the Divjay Foundation, the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai, the Mumbai Police, and Chattra Sansad for the ‘Bacche Bole Morya’ initiative, which aimed to promote cleanliness and an eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi this year.
“Eco-friendly Ganesha has been a part of our home for many years. You can’t truly celebrate the festival without purity. After the visarjan, you often see the heads, trunks, and legs of idols scattered everywhere, and people accidentally stepping on them. It’s not right,” the actor remarked on the red carpet. The event was also attended by Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri, Sonali Bendre, Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Police Commissioner Vivek Phalsankar, and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani.
