Shah Rukh Khan praised the trailer of Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, calling it ‘energetic’. The film set to release on December 25.
Varun Dhawan is set to make a grand return to the big screen with his upcoming film Baby John, following the success of his thrilling web series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Directed by Kalees, Baby John is slated to hit theatres this Christmas. Shah Rukh Khan has showered praise on the movie, describing it as a complete package.
SRK praised Baby John
Shah Rukh Khan praised the trailer of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming movie, Baby John. On Monday, Bollywood’s superstar took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle and penned down a post complimenting Baby John’s team. SRK called the film’s trailer exciting and shared that he is really looking forward to watching the movie in theatres. Shah Rukh also praised director Atlee and wished him luck.

At the trailer launch of Baby John in Pune on Monday, Atlee, the film’s writer and producer, expressed his gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he collaborated on the 2023 blockbuster Jawan. He said, “Shah Rukh Khan sir, without him, I wouldn’t have made it to Bollywood or directed a film. Now, I’m producing a film because of his support. Wherever you are, please bless us.”

Salman Khan in Baby John
Salman Khan will also make a special appearance in the movie. The trailer offers a glimpse of Salman joining forces with Varun Dhawan to take on the bad guys. Towards the end of the Baby John trailer, as the release date is revealed on screen, Salman’s voice is heard wishing fans a heartfelt “Merry Christmas.”

Directed by Kalees, Baby John is produced by Atlee and based on his 2016 Tamil film Theri. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh lead roles and Wamiqa Gabbi, , Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Salman Khan will also be making a special appearance in the movie. Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, this family entertainer is set to hit theatres on December 25, 2024.
