Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in a traditional ceremony on Thursday in Hyderabad. They’ve been together since 2022, after Naga Chaitanya split from Samantha Prabhu in 2021. Now, pictures of their engagement are all over the internet, and fans are excited to see them take this step. The first photos of Sobhita and Naga are adorable. They seem in very much in love as they pose for the camera. Naga Chaitanya wore a traditional white kurta with a cream-colored stole, while Sobhita Dhulipala went for a simple but classy look in a light pink saree by Manish Malhotra.

Manish Malhotra posted a photo of the couple congratulating them and sharing details about Sobhita’s outfit. She wore a Manish Malhotra Uppada silk saree, which comes from the Uppada area of Andhra Pradesh. To make her look more personal, she put flowers in her hair. Manish said the actress wanted to honor her cultural roots. Sobhita picked a pink flower called Kanakaambaram, which is often used in temples and worn by Telugu women in their hair, along with a lotus.

For her makeup, Sobhita went with a soft glamorous look that matched the pink shades of her saree and flowers. She had black kajal around her eyes and a bindi for a traditional touch. She wore big bangles on both wrists and a layered necklace looking every bit like a soon-to-be bride. Naga Chaitanya also stuck to tradition with his outfit wearing a classic Manish Malhotra set with a Pattu pancha, lalchi, and kanduva. This three-piece outfit is common in men’s fashion in Andhra Pradesh. He had a gold tussar silk stole around his neck with detailed dori work in antique gold zari.
