A well-liked dating reality show “Splitsvilla 15” concluded on Sunday, with Jashwanth Bopanna and Akriti Negi named the winners of the season. The season’s three standout couples—’Love Match’ Harsh-Rushali, ‘Ideal Match’ Akriti-Jashwanth, and ‘Power Match’ Kashish-Digvijay were brought together in the season finale episode. Ultimately, Jashwanth and Akriti, referred to by their admirers as #JashKriti triumphed against all the obstacles and won the show.
The winning couple beat the runners-up Harsh Arora and Rushali Yadav by just five seconds and took home the prize money of Rs 5 lakhs. The show had quite a dramatic ending leaving Sunny Leone also in tears. Ahead of the final task, Mischief Maker Urfi Javed gave the couples a choice to put it all at stake and race for the title or take Rs 10 lakhs from the winning amount home, undermining their partner’s game.
While Jashwanth and Akriti, as well as Harsh and Rushali, decided to go all in for the title, Kashish Kapoor chose to take home Rs 10 lakhs, betraying her partner Digvijay Singh Rathee in the process. This decision brought an abrupt end to Digvijay’s journey on the show, leaving him just short of the finish line. The emotional impact of this ‘betrayal’ even moved host Sunny Leone. After a grueling finale task, Jashwanth and Akriti emerged as the winners of Splitsvilla 15.
