Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated Telugu film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri, titled ‘Kingdom’, will arrive in theatres on May 30.
Actor Vijay Deverakonda is set to collaborate with director Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for Jersey and Malli Raava, in an eagerly awaited project. The makers have now revealed the film’s title—Kingdom—along with a teaser featuring voiceovers by Jr. NTR in Telugu, Suriya in Tamil, and Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi. This marks Vijay’s 12th film, and it is slated for a grand theatrical release on May 30 in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
Vijay widely recognized for his romantic and boy-next-door roles, ventured into action with Liger, though the film failed to perform at the box office. He then returned to familiar territory with films like Kushi and The Family Star. Now, he is gearing up for another action-packed role in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s upcoming film. Previously referred to as VD12, the film’s official title has now been unveiled, along with its much-anticipated teaser.
The teaser starts with a war scene by the sea, showing heavy battles and many casualties. Jr. NTR’s voiceover hints that all this leads to the rise of a new hero.
While Kingdom is a Telugu film, it will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi as well. In the teaser, there’s a voice that narrates the story of the war. Well, in Tamil teaser the voice is of Suriya, in Telugu teaser the voice is of Jr NTR, and in Hindi teaser, the narration is done by Ranbir Kapoor.
Vijay’s rumourded girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna also shared the teaser on her Instagram story, and wrote, “This man always… Always comes up with something mental. @thedeverakonda so proud!”
The film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Navin Nooli.
It is being produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas Banners respectively. The film is to be presented by Srikara Studios.
