The grand event took place at Zee Studios in Jaipur on Sunday, September 22, where Rhea stood out among a group of talented contestants from across the nation. The contestant no. 36 Rhea Singa competed with a total of 51 finalists and emerged victorious. With this win, she will represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2024 international competition.
Rhea was thrilled after her huge victory and couldn’t contain herself. She smiled heartily and told ANI that the past winners had inspired her. “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners,” she said
Others in the beauty contest put up impressive performances as well. Pranjal Priya was the first runner-up, while Chhavi Verg placed second. The third and fourth runners-up, respectively, were Sushmita Roy and Ruopfuzhano Whiso.
Urvashi Rautela, Miss Universe India 2015 and one of the judges at the event, lauded the dedication the contestants this year. She shared her optimism about India’s prospects on the international stage, saying, “I truly believe India will win the Miss Universe crown this year.
